Frank Dunkerley was a prominent Manchester Arts and Crafts architect in the early
years of the twentieth century, and although he is not now as well-known as some
of his contemporaries, his work has been acclaimed by such authorities as Pevsner
and Barry and Wendy Armstrong. The talk will give details of his career both in
architecture and public life, and will include many illustrations of his buildings.
