St. Leonard's Square / Clarke Brow
Following several years of test-pitting, MAS are getting to grips with this prestigious site by undertaking a full excavation. The Church House was demolished in 1890 but is built on the cellar of a thatched pub. It is at the gates of St Leonard’s Church which was rebuilt in the 15th century and is the oldest Church in Greater Manchester. You will need to check what dates we are on site and let us know when you are coming. Please email Cliff Ivers on email@example.com.
