It was great to see so many people from Middleton and Manchester come to see “A Painted Veil” on Thursday 15th March, the last of the three national première’s, the others being in London and Huddersfield. The film was warmly received and afterwards, film maker, Anthony Dolan, answered questions from the audience.
A new aspect highlighted in the film, for English audiences at least, was Edgar Wood the artist and painter. The audience was enchanted when Italian art expert, Leo Lugario, from Porto Maurizio, delivered a short lecture about Edgar Wood the exceptional painter at the end of the evening.
Already, people are asking when the next showing is. When we find out, Middleton Heritage will let you know!
